Free Orthodontic Treatment for Florida’s Foster Children

Who is a good candidate for Orthodontic treatment?
Individual has an overbite, underbite or crossbite?
Individual has crooked, crowded or spaced-out teeth.
Individual has difficulty with chewing or speaking.
Individual feels self conscious about their smile.
Is My Foster Child Eligible for the Embracing Smiles Program?
Candidates for Embracing Smiles require the following:
Submission must be done by a case manager or family support worker affiliated with either ChildNet or Communites Connected for Kids.
Request must be on behalf of a child, teen or young adult with an open dependency case in the state of Florida.
To be eligible, Embracing Smiles beneficiaries must be accepted into the program before their 23rd birthday.
They were denied Orthodontic coverage by insurance.
They have been referred for Orthodontic treatment by their Dentist.

How the Program Works
Embracing Smiles helps facilitate treatment for foster kids who are in need/were previously denied Orthodontic care. We act as the middleman between patients and providers, so children get the care they need.
